Welcome to
Automation Power Users
Empowering Innovators - Driving Efficiency - Building the Future of Labs

The Automation Power Users Group is a collaborative, vendor-inclusive community dedicated to advancing laboratory automation through shared knowledge, open dialogue, and peer-driven innovation. Originally founded as the Biomek Power Users Group, our community has evolved beyond a single platform to embrace the full spectrum of automation technologies and challenges across life sciences.
Our mission is to foster a dynamic network of scientists, engineers, and automation professionals who are passionate about improving lab efficiency, reproducibility, and scalability through automation. We provide a platform for members to exchange ideas, explore new technologies, and engage in meaningful discussions that drive practical solutions.
Through regular virtual meetups, vendor showcases, and peer-led discussions, we aim to:
• Promote cross-disciplinary collaboration in laboratory automation
• Support continuous learning through real-world case studies and technology demos
• Provide a feedback loop between users and vendors to shape the future of automation tools
• Build a resilient, inclusive community that thrives on curiosity and shared experience
We believe that automation is not just a tool, but a catalyst for scientific progress. By connecting professionals across industries and expertise levels, we empower each other to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the lab.
